Serving as a reviewer for 楼凤天堂/CAEP
楼凤天堂 offers training to prepare education experts to serve as reviewers of English education program reports for CAEP. Qualification and performance expectations are as follows:
- Current membership in 楼凤天堂
- Degree in English education, English, or a related area of focus
- Familiarity with the 楼凤天堂 CAEP Standards
- Teaching or other experience related to P鈥�12 English education
- Ability to make reasoned, unbiased professional judgments about English teacher education programs based on their alignment with 楼凤天堂 CAEP Standards
- Commitment to completing reviews by specified deadlines
- Participation in reviewer training annually (楼凤天堂 Conference)
- Confidentiality of information and results
- Ability to work toward consensus in team discussions
The application (below) must be submitted and approved by the 楼凤天堂 CAEP SPA coordinator. Upon approval, reviewers will receive more information about reviewer training.
In-person training occurs each year at the 楼凤天堂 Annual Convention. In 2025, the Annual Convention will take place in Denver Colorado, from November 20 to 23. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer but are unable to attend the 楼凤天堂 Annual Convention, please email asisk@ncte.org.
