Columbus State Community College African American Read-In Chain
The 楼凤天堂 African American Read-In (AARI) is a groundbreaking effort to encourage communities to read together, centering books written by Black authors that elevate Black experiences. The Read-In听was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the 楼凤天堂 Council of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. This initiative has reached more than 6 million participants around the world.听
How can you participate?听
- Volunteer to read aloud from one of your favorite authors or from an original piece of writing. (Please register to read by February 2.)听
- Celebrate Black History month by listening to members of the Columbus State community read from works that hold up Black experiences听
