Closing Out the 2022 African American Read-In

We have spent the month of February looking at the African American Read-In. Read-Ins can happen almost anywhere, from homes, to libraries, to schools, to community centers and beyond. Each year, Â¥·ïÌìÌà asks event-holders to fill out a “report card” providing details on where the event took place, how many people participated, and what books were read.

For those hosting events in 2022, we encourage you toÌýsubmit your event details for the 2022 Report CardÌýby March 15, 2022.

Read about “” in the Â¥·ïÌìÌà Council Chronicle.

“” details an African American Read-In hosted at Georgia State University.

You can see a listing ofÌýevents from 2019 to 2021 here, as well as previous years:ÌýÌý. Still looking for an event to attend or ready to start planning for next year? Check out our event list. You can also give this certificate to Read-In participants during or after your event.

Thank you in advance for sharing your 2022 African American Read-In celebrations with us!
